Life Goes On

So, classes are going pretty good, with close to half of the semester almost over. CNA class will be done the first week in March. We are doing clinicals every wednesday from 5- 10 p.m. and every saturday from 6 a.m. -2 p.m. at an Assisted Living home. It has opened my eyes a little as I have been caring for people who can't care for themselves. I have worked mostly in the Alheimer's unit. Even if I am not going to work as a CNA, it has helped me alot to see what these people go through and what the people that work with them go through. I am excited to be done with the class though, I will have so much more time when it is over. About 20 more hours a week.

I also had an Anatomy and Physiology test that was the wildest test I've ever had. It's Anatomy & Physiology 1 & 2 together in one class. There was four different parts to the test, multiple choice, lab setting, essay and verbal portion. The verbal portion was we had to go into a room with just the professor, choose a card out of his hand and explain it to him face to face, convincing him that you knew what you were talking about. Can't wing it when your in that situation, you know it or you don't. A little nerve racking, but I made it through it.

It kinda stinks, I don't get to see Erin hardly at all with school, work and everything else. But we are keeping busy trying to do what's best for our family and future family. Responsibility is crazy sometimes.
