Well, I thought I would make a point at what is controlling our lives at this time. Erin and I live in Shelley, Id. She works in Idaho Falls about 10-15 minutes away while I am going to school in Rexburg, Id, about 45 minutes from our home I have to make every day and where I also work. Gas has been shooting up like crazy here. I had a 2000 GMC Sierra, but as the gas at the pump continually rose, I knew I had to do something different to afford traveling like I was doing. So I had to swallow some of my hillbilly pride and trade my truck in for a car. So I finally did and got this 2004 Toyota Camry. I am glad I did because since then gas has gone up 40 cents per gallon!!!!! (that's in 3 weeks!) Now it's at $3.98 a gallon here. Now I'm just going to have to figure out how to fit a bull elk in there if I shoot one this Sept. in Arizona, haha. My wife would love that to see me drive up with our car full of Elk horns and meat and blood. I'm sure of it, haha. But, seeing that we will both be in school for at least the next 3 years, we are happy that we made the change. Still, I wonder how much are these prices are going to rule over my life in the next years to come?

You got drawn for elk? Congratulations! All you had to do was not put in with me, because I am the un-luckiest person in the Universe.

Although I did find an 8-point shed elk horn yesterday. It is a big one. I wish I could find its mate.

I think you made a pretty good trade. It looks like a nice car...and being a Toyota, your grandkids could probably drive it. Might want to make a friend w/ a truck though before you go hunting;) Erin might be happy about that!
